GOD BLESS YOU BELOVED!
THESE ARE SOME OF THE TRUTHS THAT FORM THE FOUNDATION OF "CHOSEN 4HIS GLORY MINISTRIES"
(COMPRISED BY MINISTER DAVID A. BROWN, SR.)
4. PRINCIPLE FOR CHANGE (Romans 12:1-2) - The believer is now utilizing principles for behavior change & has developed a personal life-change strategy. The believer understands that a natural example is critical to natural development & has acquired an appropriate ROLE MODEL. The believer now understands that CHANGE OCCURS ON PURPOSE, & that it is SUSTAINED WITH DIVINE HELP FROM GOD. Because CHANGE IS DELIBERATE, NOT BY CHANCE BUT BY DESIGN, he/she establishes personal guidelines & pre-planned responses to temptation
5) ACCOUNTABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY (Isaiah 1:19-20) - Accountability always breeds predictability & security. The believer must always be accountable for their time & responsible for their actions. The believer should set up guidelines for their own protection that will encourage them to stay on course. Responsibility is having the ability to respond in a suitable manner to any given situation. It is important that the believer be held responsible for his/her own actions. The believer should no longer place the blame or point fingers at others for their irresponsibility. But instead, the believer become responsible, & is willing to suffer the consequences for his/her own behavior.
6) GROWING SPIRITUALLY- (Colossians 3/1 Corinthians 13:11/Ephesians 4:11-15) - The believer must be actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church, so that he/she can continue to receive the Word of God. THERE CAN BE NO SPIRITUAL GROWTH APART FROM GOD’S WORD.
7) HELPING OTHERS-(Jeremiah 31:3/Romans 12:10/Hebrews 13:1-3) -Helping others has always been the plan of God. God has always wanted the believers to be a benefit outside of themselves. It is the Will of God that we implement obedience so that we may help others. David the Psalmist understood that he could not be a help to others until his own heart was right toward God (Psalms 51:10-13). Jesus prayed that the Apostle Peter’s faith failed not, & when he was converted he’d become a help to others also (Luke 22:32). The believer is now giving back to others what has been given to him/her.
