Chosen 4 His Glory

GRACE & PEACE UNTO YOU, MY BELOVED FRIEND! I THANK YOU for this time of FELLOWSHIP! As I grow in the knowledge of Who our God really is, I am learning valuable lessons that He is directing me to share with you. This ministry that He has birthed through me is not for fame or personal recognition. It is solely for the purpose of GLORIFYING GOD, & GOD ALONE! In my book, "The Re-Making of an Addict", God had me get candid about many things that some would be uncomfortable  disclosing with others. Being a new creature in Christ Jesus, knowing that the old person I once was is gone, I have no shame or condemnation because I am free from the curse of the law (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:1; Galatians 3:13). Today, I live my life as a vessel CHOSEN FOR HIS GLORY, called out of a dark, sinful life to share with the world how  powerful our GOD is (1 Peter 2:9). Many falsely assume that the glory of the Lord always rests on the lives of those who 'have it going on', to coin a phrase. But in my life, God displays His glory in my darkest hours. It has been in the valleys, in my many wilderness experiences, that the glory of God has preserved me. His glory is not always about me being on the mountaintop. His glory shows up when I am in intense pain and suffering, and it bears me up when I am weak. My husband was shot twice in the back in February and is currently without the use of his legs. It has turned our lives upside down. He is in sometimes constant pain, and rarely do we sleep a whole night through. I witness God's glory when, while he is in excruciating pain, my husband lifts his voice in worship and praise to God. So many people have come to us during what has definitely been our most trying season, thanking God for us, telling us how they are encouraged just by watching us go through this, still giving God the praise! My husband is a praiser, and when in church, he dances as if he's not in a wheelchair at all!  God's glory does, at times, put us in the right places with the right people, and it does sometimes shower us with the pleasurable things in life. But fret not if you are enduring hardships and trials which are difficult to comprehend. You just may be one who is CHOSEN FOR HIS GLORY!!!
